For constant tension winding systems - using the large series (KB, POB, PFB, PHB) brakes or (KC, POC, PHB) clutches, ultrasonic sensor, signal isolation card, and your  power supply that accepts a 0-10 volt control signal.

Constant Tension Winding System

The Signal Isolation Card 'SIC' powers the ultrasonic sensor. The ultrasonic sensor measures the diameter of the roll, to keep tension constant as the roll size changes, & sends a 0-10 VDC signal to the 'SIC'. The SIC 0-10 volt D.C. output signal controls your constant current D.C. power supply. Web tension is adjusted by the Tension Adjustment Potentiometer.
